Floyd's Story

Floyd loved his family and his community. He was a good husband to his wife of 2.7 years and a devoted great-grandfather.

One day Floyd was out with his friends working in the garden. He was happily raking twigs, fertilizing the rich soil and looking for insects when he met his fate.

The neighbor's dog, a large multi-cultural organ donor named Fritz broke through the fence around the garden. Nothing stood between Fritz and the youth and elderly, except Floyd.

He realized his time had come, but Floyd also knew that this was the reason he had been spared on so very many other occasions. If he could just buy some precious time so his compatriots could reach the safety of the tall corn...

On his headstone are inscribed these haunting words: Alas Babylon
